  Owners in Fee subject to the term hereinafter mentioned which expired 29th September 1864. Lessee for a term of 14 Years from 29th September 1850.   The property consisted of 4 Houses, Shops, and outbuildings, gardens and a close of Land called The Meadow situate at Malin Bridge and in the respective occupations of Joseph Crapper, Ann Mount, Charlotte Taylor, Ann Etchells, Price, Sellars, Armitage, Simpson and Bradshaw; the buildings and Fences were entirely swept away, nearly all the tenants drowned, and the land covered with wreck and otherwise rendered useless for the purposes of cultivation.        
    Amount of current rents and arrears at the date of the Inundation which are wholly irrecoverable in consequence of the total destruction of the property & the deaths of the tenants. £10 12s 1d
